Wrestling IS gay!
Written by nettocash at 12:40 am on 2/03/12
From 1997 until around 2007, most of IWWF's fan base enjoyed wrestling. Which is what brought us all together in the first place. Now we're all older, and moved on to better things in life. To be blunt, we think wrestling is gay.

I know what some of you are thinking; "But IWWF is a wrestling chatroom".

True, but when most of us from IWWF was 15, we enjoyed wrestling. Now IWWF is mostly just a group of people who come together to communicate about anything from sports to professional advice. The use of our famous IRC-Wrestling RPG bot refbot is still used to this day. But, not because we like wrestling.

The latest advertisement banner linking to the Chloe Elizabeth iFriends webpage is IWWF's way of catering to it's senior member's needs. By displaying banners such as the one for Chloe Elizabeth, I-WWF.Net doesn't seem to be as gay as before when it appeared to be a 100% Hardcore Wrestling Extremist Website.

In case you're wondering, Chloe Elizabeth is real, and that link will connect you directly to her webcam (If she is online!). Membership is free to join, but a credit card is required to verify your age. Your card won't be charged unless you use any premium services.

Remember when you was 13, and Adult Entertainment websites only had that warning that said "If you're not 18, then leave"? Of course, we all know no 13yo is going to let that stop them from seeing boobs. But, life isn't that simple anymore. Now a credit card is required to verify age, but it is only used to verify age, and will not be charged unless you use any premium services.

Announcement regarding the year 2012
Written by nettocash at 12:10 am on 2/03/12
IWWF was founded by Justin Verrier in 1996 on the IRC Network EFnet, and was opened to the public in 1997 on DALnet.

In 2004, IWWF was sold to a British Entrepreneur by the name of Donald Sansom. By Mid 2005, Donald sold IWWF to the current owner, Josh Kronick, a business owner from Connecticut.

IWWF is the first and oldest running IRC Federation (IFED) ever. It has paved the way for many "cheap knock-off" ifeds by releasing it's famous refbot to the public free of charge.

In the year 2012, it is predicted the world will end. That is still rumor, but what isn't a rumor, is the lack of support for the IRC-Wrestling community. Could 2012 be the end of IRC-Wrestling?

I know some of you are probably thinking; "I see people use refbot daily, and have recently spoke with new users who just joined the IRC-Wrestling community."

But the truth is, the people currently using refbot, at least 99% of them are asked to use it to make a IFED look active, not because they enjoy IRC-Wrestling, and those new users are really just someone's multi-account(s). IWWF has been providing top-notch irc-wrestling entertainment for over 13+ years, and will continue to do so as long as people put forth an effort to actually enjoy what we do instead of only participating out of obligation.

A few announcements...
Written by nettocash at 4:49 pm on 3/11/09
First, IWWF would like to congratulate Joshua Heartbrand on a job well done at successfully changing the points system without a single bot error. Now, what did JHB change? You might ask. It's simple, he increased the amount of points you are awarded when you win. Heartbrand also added 3 new event tags as well.

show.opener - This is to be used for the opening match. Alternatively, you replace show with ppv or wm

show.semimainevent - This is to be used for the match before the main event. Alternatively, you replace show with ppv or wm

If the match is not the opening match, Sub Main Event, or Main Event. Then, the required event tag is show, ppv, or wm depending on the event type.

Secondly, the annual Hall of Fame and Best Of IWWF Voting Poll is now taking active IWWF Superstar's votes. You can submit your vote for both polls on the forum by visiting www.forum.i-wwf.net

IWWF reserves the right to void any vote without the consent of the voter. :)

Thirdly, As of March 11th 2009 the Interference Policy that requires all non championship event matches to enable interference has been discontinued until further improvements can be added to the current interference system.

Finally, Wrestlemania is right around the corner, and you can read more details about it by clicking here.

Thank You to everyone who participants in IWWF events
