Background Story:
SKABRAM does really love these birds, so when he came around the claw piece he instantly thought about the crested feathers on the head of this bird. When the grebe was finished he challenged myself to come up with a chick that is striped like a zebra around the neck. It was not easy to achieve this, but he is pretty pleased how it came out eventually.
Both birds are stable and the build is not that hard. No really advanced building techniques are used. All parts in lime are invisible in the finished build and can be replaced with any color. The parent and chick come in two seperate instructions.
For the eye of the parent I used a red 1 x 1 round open part, but 98138pb355 would be nicer.

Background Story:

This is a model of a raven perched on some rocky base. Ravens are really intelligent birds and as a little easter egg I used a pink SNOT brick in the head to mimick the brains. The head can be turned about 30 degrees each side to give it a little more dynamic feel. Really happy how this bird came out!

The model is suitable for experienced moc builders and is stable as as display piece. The model can be posed without the rocky base without problem. All parts in blue in the inventory can be swapped for parts in anycolor.
