MOC-207737 Castle Hohengeroldseck New Module Series: Natural and Defense Scenes Expansion
Immersive Completion of Medieval Castle Ecology – 13 Scene Modules Build a Three-Dimensional Worldview
This series introduces 13 independent modules focusing on the natural landscapes and defense systems around the castle, continuing designer Sir Perceval’s philosophy of precise historical ruin reconstruction. As part of Landscape Expansion 1, these modules seamlessly integrate with the completed Castle Core Area (Part 1) or form standalone pastoral, riverine, and fortification scenes, enriching the narrative layers of the medieval miniature world.
Core Scenes and Module Highlights
1. Water and Wetland Landscapes
– B13 River (865 pieces): Recreates the river ecosystem around the castle, including flowing water, riverbank terrain, and vegetation details, compatible with other landscape modules to form a coherent water system.
– B12 Gate Ruins at the River (2201 pieces): Ruins of the castle’s outer gate by the river, showcasing damaged stone architecture and waterweed-covered remnants, enhancing the atmosphere of “defense works eroded by nature.”
2. Forest and Vegetation Systems
– B11 Trees at the Lake (1569 pieces) / B10 Big Old Tree at the Lake (2813 pieces): Woodland landscapes around the lake, from dense groves to single giant ancient trees, with layered brick combinations depicting seasonal tree features (e.g., withered branches, vines).
– B5 Landscape with Birches (1788 pieces): Birch forest module, using light-colored trunks and lush foliage to replicate a temperate woodland, ideal for constructing the castle’s outer buffer zone.
3. Pastoral and Campsite Life
– B9 Campsite (823 pieces): Medieval campsite scene with tents, campfires, and storage racks, suitable for storytelling of knight encampments or temporary village settlements.
– B8 Grain Field (1787 pieces): Neat wheat field landscape with different colored bricks simulating ripe crops, compatible with granary modules (e.g., D8) for agricultural production displays.
4. Defense and Terrain Works
– B12 Outer Castle Gate (2664 pieces): Outer castle gate module with double iron doors, watchtower base, and moat ruins, serving as a key node connecting the castle core and external landscapes.
– B3/B4/B6/B7 Terrain Modules: Include grasslands, hills, fountains, and woodpiles (e.g., B7 Landscape, Fountain & Wood Store), enhancing scene depth and liveliness through undulating terrain bricks and vegetation elements.
5. Basic Landscape Expansion
– B1/B11/B13 Universal Terrain Modules: Feature moss-covered stone beaches, shrubs, and pathways (e.g., B1 Landscape), serving as bases for other scenes and flexibly adapting to different thematic builds.
Common Product Advantages
1. Historical Research and Scene Narrative:
All modules are designed based on the geographical features of the castle ruins, such as river courses and vegetation distribution, ensuring consistency between micro-scenes and the macro historical context.
2. Modular Compatibility Design:
– Size Adaptability: Single modules can be displayed independently (e.g., B9 campsite as a desktop ornament) or spliced via bottom slots with other modules to form a complete L349.9cm×W121.1cm landscape strip.
– Material Uniformity: Made from ABS eco-material, bricks match the original modules in color and texture (e.g., weathered stone bricks, gradient leaves) to avoid visual dissonance.
3. User-Friendly Experience:
– Categorized Packaging: Parts are sorted by function (e.g., “tree trunk set,” “water body set”), reducing sorting time by over 50%.
– Digital Instructions: PDF guides mark module connection points and hidden structures (e.g., B12 gate’s movable drawbridge), enabling beginners to complete complex scenes.
4. Collectible and Display Value:
– Thematic Display: Can be combined into a linear “river-forest-farmland-castle” landscape or focus on a single scene (e.g., “ancient tree ruins by the lake”) as a visual centerpiece.
– Expansion Potential: As supporting landscapes for Part 1 (completed), they reserve interfaces for future Part 2-4 expansions (e.g., B12 gate can extend to Part 3 ring walls).
Application Scenarios and Combination Suggestions
– Scene Players: Start with B13 River + B12 Gate Ruins + B10 Big Old Tree to build a “forest-encircled riverside ruins” core scene, paired with figure models (sold separately) for adventure narratives.
– Collectors: Prioritize B5 Birch Forest + B8 Grain Field + B7 Fountain Woodland to form a “pastoral idyll” exhibition area, contrasting with the “vicissitudes” of the original castle core.
– Educational Settings: Use B9 Campsite + B11 Trees at the Lake modules to recreate medieval civilian life in history or craft classes, enhancing interactivity.
Note: These modules belong to Landscape Expansion 1 and can be freely combined with the previously released Castle Part 1 (37 modules) to gradually build a complete castle universe with 62 modules and 132,265 pieces. Choose single-scene modules based on interest, or collect systematically by theme (water→forest→farmland→defense).
