Directly inspired by the Queen Mary 2 ocean liner, the Poseidon is a fictional cruise ship.
While on the 1972 film the ship was identical to the Queen Mary ocean liner, on this 2006 remake the ship has the same hull of the QM2 but a different superstructure.
The bow decks have a more tapered shape, the superstructure gradually decrease from the wider promenade deck to the narrower lido deck.
An interesting detail is the fume, which has approximatively the same shape of the Queen Mary 2’s fume but inverted.
This MOC is a detailed scale model of the ship; if you are a Poseidon fan you can’t miss this!

The crane is modular and can be removed from its base; it is also functional. The third part includes the main port building, which has two floors and a roof. The first floor is the main storage area for weapons, spices, and wine. The second floor is the office of the chief port official, which includes a comfortable fireplace, writing desk, treasure chest, and cabinet. The roof is accessible by a ladder and can be removed for easier access to the second floor. There is also a small cart with an ox for transporting goods.
