Challenges During Chinese New Year
Chinese New Year is a traditional festival in China, and many logistics providers, factories, and warehouses will pause operations. As a result, we are facing the following issues:
- Logistics Suspension and Factory Closures: During the holiday, many logistics providers and factories suspend operations, leading to a shortage of staff and logistics resources, which may affect our ability to ship orders on time.
- Staff Shortage: Many employees return home to reunite with their families during the holiday, leading to a shortage of personnel. As a result, we are unable to process orders as promptly as usual.
- Suspension of Quality Inspections: Due to the holiday, our warehouse has closed, and we currently do not have quality inspection personnel available. As a result, we have temporarily stopped our quality inspection process for all orders. We are unable to complete the standard inspection before shipment at this time.
Shipping Delay Explanation
We understand that shipping delays may cause inconvenience, and we would like to provide you with a clear understanding of the situation:
- Surge in Orders: During the holiday period, our order volume has increased by over 150% compared to the previous months, which has caused delays in processing.
- Manual Quality Inspection: Each MOC set contains approximately 28,000 different parts. To ensure accuracy and quality, every part is manually inspected. This complex process takes about 3-5 hours per order.
- Extended Processing Time: Due to the large order volume and the meticulous quality checks, our processing time has been temporarily extended from the usual 7 working days to 15-20 working days.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding and patience.
Your Options and Solutions
We understand that each customer’s needs are different, so we are offering the following options for you to make an informed decision:
- Urgent Orders: If you need your order urgently, please feel free to contact us. As our warehouse has already closed for the holiday and quality inspection is temporarily suspended, we can arrange to ship your order immediately without the standard quality inspection. We will do our best to ensure you receive your items as soon as possible.
- Non-Urgent Orders: If your order is not urgently needed, you can choose to wait. After the Chinese New Year holiday, we will resume full quality inspections. Starting from February 5th, all products will undergo thorough inspection to ensure quality before shipping.
- Free Replacement Service: We understand that due to manual inspection, there may be instances of missing or incorrect parts. We offer a free replacement service if any parts are missing from your order. Please contact us, and we will promptly provide the missing parts to ensure you have a complete set.
Potential Issues
Despite our best efforts, due to the nature of manual inspection, small errors may occur. We apologize for any inconvenience and promise to address any issues promptly:
- Human Error Rate: Although we follow strict procedures, manual inspections may lead to a small error rate of about 0.5% (e.g., missing or incorrect parts). If you encounter any issues, please rest assured that we will resolve them promptly.
- Resolution Time: We promise that once you report an issue, our customer service team will respond within 24 hours on business days and resolve most issues within 3 working days.
