The moc version of the beautiful 707 jetliner!
This MOC is the 1:80 scale replica of the first passenger jet plane, and in particular of the 707-420 variant with the Air India colours.
Air India was one of the historical operators of this plane, having had about ten on their fleet from 1960 to 1990.
This model is 22,4 x 22,7 inches wide and it has 1603 parts, mostly classic bricks, plates, slopes and tiles; I also used some technic parts to make the moving parts such as the landing gears.
The building instructions includes a lot of interesting facts and historical captions that spice up a simple and fun building process.
The building instructions are two PDF guides: one for the main model, that is 286 pages (320 steps) long, and the other one for the display support, 55 pages (58 steps) long. The total size of the two files is 110 MB.
