Designer’s Description: The Martin F-35 Lightning II is an American single engine, stealth multirole combat aircraft capable of both air superiority and strike missions; it has a top speed of Mach 1. 6 and it is the first and only supersonic aircraft capable of STOVL (vertical take-off and landing) performances. This MOC is a 550 parts 1: 50 scale model of the F-35 B variant, the one with STOVL capabilities; I choose this variant because I find very charming the extreme versatility and innovative design of this aircraft. As for my precedent project, the F-22 Raptor, I choose the 1: 50 scale and I mostly used modified plates and classic bricks, as well as tiles and slopes to make this model as similar as possible to the reality without making it too big and expensive. You will find amazing the quantity of details and the ease of building this model. The MOC’s Instructions come as PDF guide.
